Agreement to Terms
By subscribing to and using CompoundLearn, you agree to these
Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not subscribe or use the service.
1. Service Description
1.1 What CompoundLearn Provides:
CompoundLearn is an online educational training platform
designed for pharmaceutical compounding professionals. The service provides:
- Training modules about USP compounding standards (<795>, <797>, <800>)
- Educational content regarding pharmaceutical compounding best practices
- Interactive quizzes and knowledge assessments
- Training completion certificates
- Resources and reference materials for compounding pharmacy teams
1.2 What CompoundLearn Is NOT:
CompoundLearn does not provide and is not intended to serve
as:
- Legal, regulatory, or compliance consulting services
- Medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical advice
- Patient-specific guidance or recommendations
- Official certification or accreditation recognized by state boards of pharmacy
- Continuing education credits (unless specifically approved and stated)
- Substitute for official United States Pharmacopeia (USP) publications
- Guarantee of regulatory compliance or inspection readiness
- Professional liability protection or compliance assurance
1.3 Educational Purpose:
CompoundLearn is an educational supplement to your
professional training and compliance programs. It does not replace your independent responsibility to
maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
2. AI-Generated Educational
Content
2.1 Content Development Process
CompoundLearn course materials are created using artificial
intelligence technology (large language models) combined with subject matter expert review and quality
control processes.
2.2 Content Accuracy and Limitations
While we implement quality control measures and expert review,
you acknowledge that:
- Content may contain errors or omissions despite our best efforts
- AI-generated content can include plausible-sounding but incorrect information
- Regulations change frequently and there may be delays between regulatory updates and content updates
- Content must be independently verified against official sources for compliance and operational
decisions
- We continuously improve content based on user feedback and evolving standards
2.3 User Responsibility to Verify
You agree that you will:
- Independently verify all information against authoritative sources
- Cross-reference content with official USP publications and current regulations
- Consult with legal and regulatory compliance professionals as appropriate
- Not rely solely on CompoundLearn content for critical compliance decisions
- Exercise independent professional judgment in all matters
3. USP Content Disclaimer
3.1 Educational Content ABOUT USP
Standards
CompoundLearn provides training and educational content ABOUT
the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards and compounding requirements. This content:
- Teaches about USP <795>, <797>, and <800> requirements and best practices
- Is developed for educational purposes to help users understand regulatory frameworks
- Is based on publicly available regulatory information and industry knowledge
- Is NOT taken from or reproduced from official USP publications
- Is NOT endorsed by or affiliated with the United States Pharmacopeial Convention
3.2 Official USP Publications Required
IMPORTANT: You must
maintain independent access to current official USP publications (<795>, <797>, <800>)
and other applicable regulatory standards. CompoundLearn training supplements but absolutely does not
replace these official authoritative sources.
3.3 Verification Against Official
Sources
For all compliance-critical decisions, you must:
- Consult official current USP publications
- Review applicable federal regulations (FDA, DEA, etc.)
- Comply with your specific state board of pharmacy requirements
- Follow your organization's policies and procedures
- Seek guidance from qualified legal and compliance counsel
4. User Responsibilities
and Professional Obligations
4.1 Licensed Professional Use
CompoundLearn is intended for use by or under the supervision
of licensed pharmacy professionals. By using this service, you represent that:
- You are a licensed pharmacy professional OR
- You are using this service under appropriate professional supervision OR
- You are using this service for educational purposes related to pharmacy practice
4.2 Independent Professional
Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that YOU are solely responsible for:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring your pharmacy operations
comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Professional Judgment: Making independent professional
decisions about compounding practices, patient care, and safety
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining appropriate quality control
and quality assurance programs
- Staff Training: Providing comprehensive training programs
including facility-specific and equipment-specific training
- Current Standards: Staying informed about current regulatory
requirements and industry standards
- Professional Licenses: Maintaining all required professional
licenses, certifications, and credentials
- Verification: Independently verifying all information
obtained through CompoundLearn
4.3 Supplementary Training Tool
You understand that CompoundLearn is one component of a
comprehensive training and compliance program and does not constitute a complete compliance solution.
5. Subscription, Payment,
and Billing
5.1 Subscription Plans
CompoundLearn is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing and
plan details are available on our website and may be updated from time to time with notice to active
subscribers.
5.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan
- Payment is due on your subscription renewal date
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
- Failed payments may result in service suspension after notice
5.3 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days
advance notice to active subscribers. Price changes will take effect at your next renewal date. If you
do not agree to a price increase, you may cancel your subscription.
5.4 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or
other taxes associated with your subscription.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your
account settings or by contacting us at info@503pharma.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of your
current billing period.
6.2 Refund Policy
- First 30 Days: If you are not satisfied with CompoundLearn
for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your initial subscription for a full refund, no
questions asked.
- After 30 Days: No refunds will be provided for the current
billing period. You may cancel to prevent future charges.
- Annual Subscriptions: After the first 30 days, no pro-rated
refunds are provided. You may cancel to prevent auto-renewal.
6.3 Termination by CompoundLearn
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for:
- Non-payment after reasonable notice
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity or misuse of the service
- Activities that harm our systems or other users
- Legal or regulatory requirements
In the event we terminate your account for cause, no refunds
will be provided.
7. Service Availability and
Data
7.1 Service Commitment
We strive to provide reliable service and will make reasonable
efforts to ensure:
- Regular service availability
- Secure data storage with appropriate backups
- Responsive customer support
- Timely resolution of technical issues
7.2 No Guarantee of Availability
However, we do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or uninterrupted access
- Immediate resolution of all technical issues
- Compatibility with all devices, browsers, or operating systems
- Preservation of your data indefinitely after account termination
7.3 Service Updates
We may update, modify, or discontinue features, content, or
functionality at any time without prior notice as we continuously improve the platform.
7.4 User Data Backup
While we maintain regular backups of our systems, you should:
- Keep copies of any content you upload or create
- Download certificates and completion records for your files
- Maintain independent training records
- Not rely on CompoundLearn as your sole record-keeping system
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 CompoundLearn Ownership
All content, features, functionality, software, and materials
available through CompoundLearn (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by CompoundLearn and are
protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License to Use
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Access and use CompoundLearn for your professional training purposes
- Download or print reasonable portions for your internal training use
- Allow your authorized staff members to access the service under your organization's subscription
8.3 Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Reproduce, redistribute, or resell CompoundLearn content to third parties
- Create derivative works or competing products based on our content
- Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use automated systems to scrape or download bulk content
- Share login credentials with unauthorized users
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
8.4 User Submissions
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about
CompoundLearn, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, implement, and
incorporate such feedback without compensation or attribution.
9. Warranties and
Disclaimers
9.1 Limited Warranty
We warrant that:
- CompoundLearn will substantially function as described in our service documentation
- We develop content with reasonable care and subject matter expert review
- We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
- We will make good faith efforts to correct material errors brought to our attention
9.2 DISCLAIMER OF OTHER WARRANTIES
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN
SECTION 9.1, COMPOUNDLEARN IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of accuracy, completeness, or currency of content
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that content is error-free or meets all your requirements
- Warranties that use of our service ensures compliance with any specific regulatory requirement
- Warranties regarding third-party content or external links
9.3 Professional Responsibility
We specifically disclaim any warranty that use of
CompoundLearn alone satisfies your training obligations, compliance requirements, or professional
responsibilities.
9.4 Regulatory Changes
We do not warrant that content reflects the absolute latest
regulatory changes at all times. Regulations evolve continuously and you are responsible for monitoring
current requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Liability Cap
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED
BY LAW, COMPOUNDLEARN'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE
OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COMPOUNDLEARN IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS
IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10.2 Excluded Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED
BY LAW, COMPOUNDLEARN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Regulatory actions: Penalties, fines, warnings, or
enforcement actions by regulatory authorities
- Compliance failures: Failed inspections, compliance
deficiencies, or audit findings
- Business impacts: Lost profits, business interruption, or
lost business opportunities
- Professional liability: Claims arising from your professional
practice or patient care
- Consequential damages: Any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages
- Reliance: Decisions made based on CompoundLearn content
without independent verification
- Third parties: Actions or omissions of third parties
10.3 Basis of the Bargain
You acknowledge that these limitations of liability reflect an
agreed allocation of risk between you and CompoundLearn and are reflected in the subscription fees
charged. These limitations will apply even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
10.4 Applicable Law
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied
warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions,
our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless
CompoundLearn, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against
any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys'
fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use or misuse of CompoundLearn
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Your professional practice and patient care activities
- Compounding activities or preparations you create
- Content you submit or upload to the service
- Any negligence or willful misconduct on your part
12. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- Use CompoundLearn for any unlawful purpose
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Share your login credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the service in any way that could harm CompoundLearn's reputation or business
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in
immediate termination of your account without refund.
13. Privacy and Data
Protection
Your use of CompoundLearn is also governed by our Privacy
Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to
understand our data collection and use practices.
14. Communications
14.1 Electronic Communications
By subscribing to CompoundLearn, you consent to receive
electronic communications from us, including:
- Service-related announcements and updates
- Billing and payment confirmations
- Responses to your inquiries
- Educational content and platform updates
- Marketing communications (you may opt out of marketing emails)

15. Modifications to Terms
15.1 Right to Modify
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any

- Displaying a notice when you log in to the service
15.2 Effect of Changes
Changes become effective 30 days after notice is provided.
Your continued use of CompoundLearn after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified
terms.
If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must cancel
your subscription before the effective date.
16. Governing Law and
Dispute Resolution
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of
CompoundLearn shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas, TX. You consent to the
personal jurisdiction of such courts.
16.3 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first
contact us at hello@compoundlearn.com to attempt to
resolve the dispute informally.
17. General Provisions
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy,
constitute the entire agreement between you and CompoundLearn regarding use of the service and supersede
all prior agreements and understandings.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or
unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision
will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
17.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms
will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your
subscription without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
17.5 No Agency
Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint
venture, or employment relationship between you and CompoundLearn.
17.6 Survival
Sections that by their nature should survive termination
(including but not limited to disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute
resolution) will survive termination of these Terms or your subscription.
18. Acknowledgment and
Acceptance
By clicking "I Accept" or by subscribing to and using
CompoundLearn, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood these Terms of Service
- You agree to be bound by these Terms
- You understand CompoundLearn is educational training, not compliance consulting
- You will independently verify all information against official sources
- You understand content is AI-generated with expert review and may contain errors
- You maintain independent access to official USP publications
- You are responsible for your own regulatory compliance and professional practice
- You accept the limitations of liability and disclaimers outlined above
