TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPOUNDLEARN'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COMPOUNDLEARN IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
